I'm Tired

Tuesday has come very quickly this week. As we grow tired we tend to let things go. Many times we let tired or being wore out be an untold excuse to sin. It is hard to stay on your game when you are tired. Those moments are when we need to be the most vigilant. The lion does not seek the strongest but the weakest. When we get tired we tend to worry. We worry a lot because we do not feel like we can do it. Things of this world begin to way us down. Then we tend to turn to worldly things to relieve that stress. Life then begins to look like a bath tub drain in use. Do not worry about what you will eat, wear, drink, and or sleep tonight. Do not let the cares of this world deceive you. Do not let the world make you think that it has any stress relief. Do not let the world lead you to believe that more worldly things will make it easy on you.  We will have tired times and easy times. In both rely on the Lord. Be strong today. The Lord is our shepherd we have no cares. Cast your burdens on Him.

““Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.” Matt. 6:31-32

“Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word,  and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.” Mark 4:18-19

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”  Phil 4:6

Stay strong even when you are tired. Focus harder, work smarter, and teach longer when you are tired. Keep working hard. :)
Gal. 1:3-5

The Effects

Make sure you are taking into account eternity with every choice you make about fun and pleasure. We will all be held accountable. As a family, we want to cultivate an environment that continually produces good wholesome fun. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” 1 Corinthians 5:10 NKJV

Complaining

Complaining means it is about me. Life in Christ is not about us. Our Christian walk is about God and our neighbor. We do not get the privilege of complaining as blessed servant slaves of righteousness.  We must think twice before we speak our complaints.  (Phil. 2:14-16; Lk. 10:27)

Be Careful Judging

Judgment is wrong. Righteous judgement is not. That is, we can evaluate others lives based on the word and go to their aid when they are struggling. However, the final judgment call is by our Master.  God makes that ruling on judgement day. Be careful lest you be found making the final judgement on someone. (Romans 14:4) “Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.” Romans 14:4 NKJV
