Praise Me Last

We do not seek to be seen by men.  We do not ware broad fancying clothing to be seen by men. We do not love the most important rooms for our feast. We do not want the best seats at worship so we can be seen. We do not seek to receive everyone's greeting when we are out and about. We do not want to be call Rabbi. (Matt 23:5-7)  All of these things  put the praise and attention of men first. What do we want? We want to be servants. We are unprofitable servants at that. (Luke 17:10)  We want the praise and attention we receive in our lives to be last. We want our service to God and others to be first.

Infectious Faith

Let us so increase in the knowledge of God that our actions are nothings but service to Him.  Then a great many will see and seek God.   At that point, with their obedience to the gospel, God can add them to the called out. (Acts 6:7; Matt. 5:16)
