Grow

Labor Day is Monday. You know what that means, a three-day weekend. There are no holidays, weekends, breaks, or clock out times in Christianity. We are to always be growing in Christ.  The knowledge of God and our Lord Jesus Christ multiplies our grace and peace. We have everything that pertains to life and godliness through the knowledge of Jesus. When we grow in Him we can be partakers of Jesus’ divine nature. We have to escape the corruption of the world in order to grow in Christ. When we seek Him and the knowledge of Him we grow in Him. If we grow in Christ we can have the same faith as the apostles. We are to always be growing, multiplying, maturing and working in Christ. Grow in Christ today.

“Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Pet. 1:1-4

The magnificent blessings Peter speaks of are for everyone. Go share the knowledge of our Lord and savior today. Grow in the knowledge of Christ today. :)

Family Light

Make sure your light is always shining no matter what your family is doing. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.   “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV

Christians In War

We have the right and responsibility to protect our God given blessings. This is not done from hate, anger or wrath. We are to make sure to protect what God has blessed us with. We are to protect our families. We can be a soldier. We can use the “sword”. Carry protection for self-defense only. Know your surroundings. Keep your defensive item it its place. Take care of and protect your family. Soldiers keep soldiering and don’t abuse your power.   Always remember we are all bound by the same rulers. “And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.” So they said, “Lord, look,...

God's Family Plan

God had a plan for man. He created all things in Genesis, chapter one. There we were, man and woman, in a perfect place with a simple work to do. He prepared a beautiful place for a man to be fruitful and multiply. It was not an accident that God created the earth and then placed its maintenance in the hands of a man and woman. Take time today to read Genesis chapter one and think about God’s plan for the family.   “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the ...
