We have the right and responsibility to protect our God
given blessings. This is not done from hate, anger or wrath. We are to make sure to
protect what God has blessed us with. We are to protect our families. We can be
a soldier. We can use the “sword”. Carry protection for self-defense only. Know your surroundings. Keep
your defensive item it its place. Take care of and protect your family. Soldiers
keep soldiering and don’t abuse your power. Always remember we are all bound by the same
rulers.
“And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag,
knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” Then He
said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a
knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. For I
say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He
was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an
end.” So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.” And He said to them, “It
is enough.””

who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving
him half dead.”

“But Jesus said to
him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will
perish by the sword.”

not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has
denied the faith and is worse

““Likewise the soldiers asked him, saying, “And what shall
we do?” So he said to them, “Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely, and be
content with your wages.””

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For
there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are
appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance
of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are
not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the
authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is
God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not
bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath
on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of
wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes,
for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render
therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom
customs, fear to whom fear, honor
to whom honor.”
Romans 13:1-7 NKJV
to whom honor.”
