Say Yes

You have got to say “yes” to the life given by God. You must say “yes” to the hope of eternal salvation. You have got to say “yes”. Yes, you can make it. It does not matter how many failures you have had. It does not matter how many mistakes you have endured. It does not matter about your defeats. It does not matter about what you have done. What matters is what you are doing right now.  You have got to put forth the effort. You must get it done. You have got to work. Effort is the difference between life and death. As Christians effort is the difference between eternal life and eternal death. Say “Yes” to all that God has laid before you. Say “yes” and get it done everyday to receive eternal life!

“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?” James 2:14

“You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.” James 2:24

And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon,Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets,  who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword;whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.” Heb. 11:32-34

“…, so faith without deeds is dead.” James 2:26

Get it done. Say “yes” and go to work. You belong to God so no past, no fears, no, worries, and no pessimism can accompany you. Fight for the salvation of souls today. :)

The Effects

Make sure you are taking into account eternity with every choice you make about fun and pleasure. We will all be held accountable. As a family, we want to cultivate an environment that continually produces good wholesome fun. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” 1 Corinthians 5:10 NKJV

Complaining

Complaining means it is about me. Life in Christ is not about us. Our Christian walk is about God and our neighbor. We do not get the privilege of complaining as blessed servant slaves of righteousness.  We must think twice before we speak our complaints.  (Phil. 2:14-16; Lk. 10:27)

Be Careful Judging

Judgment is wrong. Righteous judgement is not. That is, we can evaluate others lives based on the word and go to their aid when they are struggling. However, the final judgment call is by our Master.  God makes that ruling on judgement day. Be careful lest you be found making the final judgement on someone. (Romans 14:4) “Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.” Romans 14:4 NKJV
