Encourage with Prayer

Lifting each other up in prayer is a great way to exhort one another  We need to pray with each other.  We need to offer up prayers for each other.  We need to fervently pray for the specifics needs of another.  Not in unspoken prayer request or vague appeal for prayer do we go to God for each other.  We enter the throne room of God on behalf of each other over specific needs and trespasses.  To do that we need to be real with each other.  Not fake in the way we present our need for trespasses or weaknesses.  We need to be encouraging one another by praying for and with each other.

“Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”  James 5:16

Talk to and pray for someone today about their specific need. Seek a lost soul and pray with them! :) Keep about the work of the Lord today.

Family Light

Make sure your light is always shining no matter what your family is doing. “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.   “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-16 NKJV

Christians In War

We have the right and responsibility to protect our God given blessings. This is not done from hate, anger or wrath. We are to make sure to protect what God has blessed us with. We are to protect our families. We can be a soldier. We can use the “sword”. Carry protection for self-defense only. Know your surroundings. Keep your defensive item it its place. Take care of and protect your family. Soldiers keep soldiering and don’t abuse your power.   Always remember we are all bound by the same rulers. “And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?” So they said, “Nothing.” Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.” So they said, “Lord, look,...

Conviction

Conviction cannot be hidden. If you are convicted, it is evident. Your life will revolve around what you are strongly fixed in or on. We can get convicted of things that are bad for us. We can get convicted that certain sins are okay in moderation. We can get convicted that cultural teachings are perfect practices. That does not make it right. If we are convicted of the right things, then great things can be done. Let us be true to our conviction that Christ is the savior. Let us be convicted that we are children of God. Let us be convicted that we are soldiers for Christ. Let us be convicted that in Christ the world and sin cannot overcome us. Let your firm belief in God govern your actions. “Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son ...
