The Oldest Institution

The oldest institution is marriage. God established it with Adam and Eve. He intended a male and a female to become one in this holy union. Enjoy this blessing and take good care of it. God established it for you.

“And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? Be Careful Judging

Judgment is wrong. Righteous judgement is not. That is, we can evaluate others lives based on the word and go to their aid when they are struggling. However, the final judgment call is by our Master. God makes that ruling on judgement day. Be careful lest you be found making the final judgement on someone. (Romans 14:4) “Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.” Romans 14:4 NKJV

Lasting Effects

The family God setup continued to deteriorate as time went on. The same plague haunted those families that haunts ours. If we let this plague of sin go unchecked and refuse to inoculate ourselves against it, then we too will become the rotted poor sad reflection of God’s real intent. Circumstances To Rejoice In

What is a good time to rejoice? What circumstances should cause us to rejoice? Christianity is never without its opportunities to rejoice. We should rejoice when we are under persecution. (Matt. 5:11-12) We should rejoice with others who are full of joy. (Rm. 12:15) We should rejoice in our sufferings. (Col. 1:23-24) We need to rejoice in His salvation. (Isaiah 25:9) Although we might not feel like rejoicing in some of these circumstances we are called to. Joy is more than a feeling it is about knowing. In all circumstance, we know all things belong to God and all things are under His rule.
