The Family Interruption

There is one thing that interrupted God’s plan. It is the same thing that can destroy families today, sin. Sin reared its ugly head and caused great turmoil in the family. First, we see life become harder because of the sin of Adam and Eve. Then we see sin continue its work in Cain as he deals murderously with his brother Able. We need to keep in mind that sin cannot only destroy individuals it can destroy any blessing God gives us by causing us to reject God and His blessings.

“Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.” Genesis 4:8 NKJV
