Obeying Government



We are not to obey the government unconditionally. We are to obey such things as traffic and hunting laws. The Government has a job. That job is not to infringe on you and I keeping God’s commands. We obey the authority over us until it begins to reject God’s authority. We must obey God and not men.

 “saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!” But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. “  Acts 5:28-29 NKJV

Lasting Effects

The family God setup continued to deteriorate as time went on. The same plague haunted those families that haunts ours.   If we let this plague of sin go unchecked and refuse to inoculate ourselves against it, then we too will become the rotted poor sad reflection of God’s real intent. Circumstances To Rejoice In

What is a good time to rejoice? What circumstances should cause us to rejoice? Christianity is never without its opportunities to rejoice. We should rejoice when we are under persecution. (Matt. 5:11-12) We should rejoice with others who are full of joy. (Rm. 12:15) We should rejoice in our sufferings. (Col. 1:23-24) We need to rejoice in His salvation.
