Rest Time



Take time to rest. We cannot be on the front lines every single moment. We must draw back and recuperate. If we do not we will succumb to exhaustion and the enemy will win. (Mark 6:31)

“And He said to them, “Come aside by
yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.”

Lasting Effects

The family God setup continued to deteriorate as time went on. The same plague haunted those families that haunts ours.   If we let this plague of sin go unchecked and refuse to inoculate ourselves against it, then we too will become the rotted poor sad reflection of God’s real intent. Circumstances To Rejoice In

What is a good time to rejoice? What circumstances should cause us to rejoice? Christianity is never without its opportunities to rejoice. We should rejoice when we are under persecution. (Matt. 5:11-12) We should rejoice with others who are full of joy. (Rm. 12:15) We should rejoice in our sufferings. (Col. 1:23-24) We need to rejoice in His salvation.
