Physical Needs Matter



We need to be concerned with the physical needs of others. Not the wants but the needs are what we need to pay attention to. We show our faith by doing such. We also reach the souls of others by paying attention to such things. Let us not forget it is because of Christ, we no longer focus on the flesh but the soul. The world, however, is only concerned about the flesh. Get their attention by meeting their needs and then save their soul by giving them the Word.

“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?” James 2:14-16 NKJV
