The Past Has Past

It is over. You cannot retrieve it. You cannot stuff your words back in your mouth. You cannot take back your actions. You cannot reverse your past life choices. Is that not just wonderful?  No seriously, without them we would not know how much  we need Christ. We would not know how much we have grown. We would not now what needs to change in our lives. Let it go and use it for your betterment. (Col. 2:13; Matt. 9:2; Psalm. 51:10)

In The Name Of

Everything that we do must be in the name of Jesus. The phrase “in the name of” identifies by whose authority. Everything we do we must do in and by the authority of Christ. We cannot quit because Christ is with us. Jesus made it clear if we do His commands He is with us tell the end of the age. We must work and operate within His authority and by His authority.   Success outside of this parameter is not godly success but worldly achievement. Therefore, it is nothing more than sin. Make sure you are taking into account eternity with every choice you make about fun and pleasure. We will all be held accountable. With Spirit

     We are to worship God in spirit and truth. Truth being His word. Our spirit is what makes us up. Our spirit is all that we have. Who cares what that sounds like or what our best may amount to, to the ears and eyes of the world. God asked for all of us. Lip service will not suffice. Man-made concepts will cause our worship to come up short in God’s eyes. Be mindful of this. Give Him all you have. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:   ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” Matthew 15:7-9 NKJV
