Thoughts

The things  that need to draw us into meditation are not the last football score, the great mysteries of science, the unbelievable achievements of man, or anything else. They are godly things. Things like who God is, what He  has created, what He has done and much more should stay on our mind. Today spend at least a minute or two contemplating God. 
“I will also meditate on all Your work,
And talk of Your deeds.” Psalm 77:12

“l will meditate on Your precepts,
And contemplate Your ways.” Psalm 119:15

 Let God captivate your mind so you can captivate the moment with Him! Keep working for the Lord. Live today to seek and save the lost.

Everything that we do must be in the name of Jesus. The phrase “in the name of” identifies by whose authority. Everything we do we must do in and by the authority of Christ. We cannot quit because Christ is with us. Jesus made it clear if we do His commands He is with us tell the end of the age. Make sure you are taking into account eternity with every choice you make about fun and pleasure. We will all be held accountable. With Spirit

     We are to worship God in spirit and truth. Truth being His word. Our spirit is what makes us up. Our spirit is all that we have. Who cares what that sounds like or what our best may amount to, to the ears and eyes of the world. God asked for all of us. Lip service will not suffice. Man-made concepts will cause our worship to come up short in God’s eyes. Be mindful of this. Give Him all you have. Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying:   ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” Matthew 15:7-9 NKJV
